Salesforce · Automation · AI · Custom Systems

Turn complexity into a system that runs without you.

Your business already has the ambition and the client base. Jason Burgess builds the Salesforce, automation, and AI infrastructure that lets your team stop duct-taping workflows and start scaling on systems built to last.

Why This Work Matters

Most businesses aren't short on effort. They're short on systems that keep up with it.

Somewhere between the spreadsheet that started it all and the team you have today, the tools stopped fitting. Data lives in five places. Processes depend on one person remembering the steps. Reporting takes a day to assemble instead of a click to load.

Jason has spent his career inside that gap — building Salesforce implementations, automations, and custom applications for organizations that needed their systems to actually match how they work, not the other way around. From nonprofit affiliates managing thousands of volunteers to growing businesses drowning in manual process, the pattern is the same: the fix isn't more effort. It's better infrastructure.

That's the standard behind every Gibson Burgess systems engagement — build it right, document it clearly, and hand over something your team can actually run without needing an outside consultant standing over their shoulder.

Key Capabilities

Four ways this work pays off immediately.

Whether it's a single Salesforce flow or a full technology overhaul, every engagement is built around the same outcomes.

01

Systems built around your business

No forcing your team into rigid, off-the-shelf software. We configure Salesforce and custom tools to match how your business actually operates.

02

Automation that removes the busywork

Manual data entry, follow-up emails, approval routing — if it's repeatable, it's a candidate for automation that runs in the background.

03

AI applied where it actually helps

Not AI for its own sake — practical use cases identified, prioritized, and implemented where they save real time or unlock real capability.

04

Documentation and training that outlasts the project

Every build ships with training and documentation, so your team owns the system instead of depending on us to run it.

The Work in Practice

Systems built, not just discussed.

A few examples of the kind of work this looks like on the ground.

Salesforce · Nonprofit

Process Improvement with Salesforce Flows

Implemented Salesforce flows and experience sites to improve the process in all departments, from donor engagement to volunteer registration to managing applications for clients looking for assistance.

Salesforce · Field Services

Field Service Automation

Built out a custom Salesforce solution that helps field service companies with lead generation, appointment scheduling, proposals and digital acceptance, job management and costing - while creating a postiive experience for their customers.

Technology Assessment

Removing Friction

Fully assessed business processes and methodologies, with a comprehensive review of the software used to manage the processes. Delivered a comprehensive plan to consolidate systems and provided their employees with the tools necessary to get their job done in a more efficient way.

Microsoft 365 Implementation

Google Workspace to Microsoft 365

Led a company-wide migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, managing the end-to-end transition of email, calendars, and file storage to Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Configured user identity and security through Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including conditional access policies, multi-factor authentication, and role-based permissions to protect organizational data. Built out SharePoint site architecture and access controls, mapping legacy Google Drive folder structures and sharing permissions to SharePoint document libraries to maintain data integrity and minimize workflow disruption. Coordinated the migration timeline, troubleshot access and permission issues, and trained users on the new environment to drive adoption across the organization.

Industries

Built for how your industry actually runs.

Every build starts with the specifics of your industry — the compliance requirements, the workflows, the systems that already exist. Client names stay private; the results speak for the approach.

Two Ways to Work Together

A single build, or an ongoing partner.

Every engagement starts with what your business actually needs — not a fixed package.

Project-Based

Build

A defined project — a Salesforce implementation, an automation, a custom app — scoped, built, and handed off.

  • Ideal for a specific system gap or launch
  • Clear scope, timeline, and deliverables
  • Full documentation and team training included
  • You own everything at handoff
Ongoing Partnership

Advisory

A retained relationship for organizations that want a technology partner in their corner as things change.

  • Ideal for growing or scaling organizations
  • Monthly strategy and roadmap sessions
  • New tool evaluation and vendor decisions
  • On-call technical guidance as issues come up
What Your Team Walks Away With

Not just a build — a system you actually own.

  • Systems configured around how your team already works
  • Automations that remove hours of manual, repetitive work
  • A clear, honest picture of where AI can actually help
  • Documentation your team can reference without calling us
  • A technology stack you understand, not one you're locked into

Most consultants hand you a system and disappear.

Jason builds it, trains your team on it, and stays reachable when questions come up later.

That's the difference between a project that gets used and one that quietly gets abandoned in six months.

Who This Is For

Organizations that know their systems are the bottleneck.

A strong fit for teams that:

  • Are outgrowing spreadsheets, manual processes, or a CRM that doesn't fit
  • Want Salesforce set up to match how they actually operate
  • Are curious about AI but don't know where to realistically start
  • Need a technical partner who can also speak the business side

Especially valuable for:

  • Nonprofits and affiliates managing volunteers, donors, or applicants at scale
  • Growing businesses ready to move off manual processes
  • Teams mid-migration or mid-implementation who need it done right
  • Organizations that want one partner across CRM, automation, and AI

Your systems shouldn't be the thing holding you back.

Whether it's one broken process or a full technology overhaul, let's talk about what your business actually needs.
